Created Date and Modified Dates to be available for Key Field selections
We would like to be able to add Created Date and Modified Date to the Key Fields for Accounts and Opportunities and these are only available to use in the column searches

Add an Asset Management Module
Understanding what clients have purchased and their respective warranty, service, and option history is essential for account management. We current use the "customer service" module for this purpose, however, it would be best if "ASSET MANAGEMENT" was a discrete module.
Assets could have UDFs that are application specific. They could be created from the products that are included in an opportunity. Once an opportunity status changes to WON, the information could be transitioned to a COMPANY asset.
This would add a life-cycle component that is very valuable, differentiates from other CRM, and saves time, and provides extremely useful information.

Intelligent Links in Address Book and Opportunity Views
Change the functionality of Links within the Views to be specific to the list itself.
For instance when viewing Opportunities if you click on the Company/Individual link, it takes you to the Opportunity view rather than the view of that company or individual. While you can do this via a right click/select, it would be easier and intuitive to directly link to that entity.
Other smart links could be created:
- email address - opens default email client
- phone number - automatically opens a, make call, note
- other fields - would open the Opportunity/Address Book and make that…13 votes -
Ability to delete Default Key Fields
Ability to delete or otherwise restrict access to the <Default Key Fields>. Otherwise allow edit of the name so this can be re-purposed.

Hotlist should allow Searching on all Fields
Hotlist should allow Searching on Fields - including but not limited to : Action Plan Library, Activity/Subject, Case Number, Case Subject, Opportunity Objective, Priority, Resources etc

'Products/Services' at company level
We currently have a UDF for this, but want to automatically fill in a case with the companies product/service when a case is created for them. Out-of-the-box functionality for this would be an excellent improvement.

Calendar Appointment in HTML
Calendar Appointment in HTML - I would like to see the ability to add bullet points into calendar appointments so the agenda of the appointment can be easily read when emailed.

contact / company input, capitalize the first letter of words as in the previous versions
data entry companies / individuals, capitalize the first letter of words as in the previous versions. It is absent in ver 12 for the most part

Show outgoing call subject in his notes tab similar to emails
Subject line when making an outgoing or incoming call does not show in the notes page. E-mail subject lines do. Rather than seeing the "text" say phone call: XXXX say subject:XXXX like e-mails do when stored in notes.

Add new Campaign option "Send once to duplicate email addresses"
Sometimes a subscriber list may have many people with the same email address (e.g. lots of "sales@company.com"). May we have a new Campaign option "Send once to duplicate email addresses" that ensures such email addresses receive one email only, and not one email for every matching subscriber. E.g. the campaign would merge only to the first such subscriber, "first" being alphabetically by full name.

Configurable quick search
The new quick search feature is great, allowing you to search on First Name, Last Name, Company, Phone (all phone numbers) and/or Email Address (all email addresses).
Can you exted this further by adding some configuration options of which fields can be searched by this search e.g. Town, Position.
Clearly the users would need to be educated that the more you add to the quick search the bigger impact on speed performance.

Contacts to automatically inherit UDFs from Company/Individual
If a certain UDF is blank at the contact level, then just inherit the value from the same UDF at the company/individual level
117 votesCould you please provide more detailed use cases and examples. Basic UDF inheritance can be complicated and confusing for new entries or for those that are left blank on purpose etc.

Maximizer Web Access telephony integration
Provide outbound dialing and inbound caller detection integration based on TAPI as per Windows client. This will allow clients who require Maximizer telephony integration to switch to Maximizer Web Access as their main user interface.

Opportunity Reassignment and Opportunities without a Company Assigned
In certain industries you do not know who the end customer for your opportunity is until the deal closes (i.e the quote may be to a sub contractor) In these cases it is desirable to be able to reassign the company that the opportunity is linked to, effectivley moving the opportunity from the sub contractor to the enduser/client where the goods /services will be delivered.
Ideally in the same industries it would also be a great benefit if you could have opportunities no customer (which could be assigned later). I think having a linked partner would be recommended.

Ability to modify built-in email templates
When we book appointments, an email is sent to client. I would like to be able to modify the contents by default, including adding removing fields, not having to modify every email each time.

Create Contact From Outlook
When using the outlook toolbar to Create Contact, you cannot edit/populate the address, phone or email addresses.
It would be very handy to be able to do this especially if you are creating a contact from an incoming email.34 votes -
Undo option when you Make List Current
How many times have you spent time manipulating data in Maximizer and clicked Make List Current only to realise that you meant to Invert Selection first? Yes this is a user error but oh so frustrating. The ability to go back (undo) to the previous list would be grately appreciated.

Link to a local directory not just to a document
We store thousands of image files archived by work order #. We can't include all these in the database and so I think it would be useful to be able to link to a folder that would open in file explorer to show all the images. It would save time to be able to go directly from Max to the folder (local or network). We actually use a cloud product that syncs all computers for this data so as long as the location of the cloud service was the same on all computers, the link would work.
