Task Organization by Context or Category
A massive improvement would the ability to categorize tasks. David Allen pretty much destroys the idea of using "high/medium/low" to organize tasks (Todos) in https://gettingthingsdone.com/ as it is worse than useless to prioritize/organize tasks this way (just clutter). The productive way to organize them is by context. Sales Call, Admin Task, Project, Waiting For, etc. that I customize to my needs. And please don't tell me to use the task description field for that.

Action plans
Currently in a task you can add more then 2000 characters I am hoping that it can also be added to action plans as you can only add 255 characters in a task in action plans

Hotlists
When using hotlists, there should be an easy option, to connect the hotlist task directly to the customer file. Instead of have to navigate 3 pages currently, before getting back to the customer file

Email follow up task
In my experience with emails we tend to send and wait...assuming that the recipient will return the email or follow up in a timely manner. Right now I send an email from Outlook or Maximizer and then create a task in the future as a reminder that the email was sent on a specific date and I am expecting a response. It would be helpful that I am prompted to create a task after I send/reply to an email from Maximizer or Outlook. The task would be applied to the record for which it was originated ie: address book, opportunity,…

Task priority
Don't update the priority to MED when syncing with Outlook if the task originates in Maximizer. Honour the Maximizer setting or don't sync the priority. This function neglects any workflow that a company may be using for task management.

task reminders
We should be able to set reminders for "years" out or at least ability to add triple digits or quadruple digits to task reminders. For example, right now I can only set a task reminder for a maximum of 99 months out, but I want to set a reminder for 10 years and 20 years, and I am unable to do this.

Trigger alert based on Do Not Solicit - Email
The new Alerts are useful - but the list of things you can trigger an alert on is missing the Do Not Solicit by field.
This would let you show an alert every time someone unsubscribes

"Assigning tasks" to more than one person / Team
I'm in the process of setting up some action plans and would like to assign some tasks to groups of people, rather than just 1 person. it would be great if you could assign tasks to a "Teams" or "Division" or similar. also if someone was to leave or change position you could just update the team or division and the tasks would be reassigned.

Hotlist Completed Task Notification to Sender
It would be nice if the sender of a hotlist task can be notified once the task is completed

ability to see backlogged appointments in the My Workspace
actually see outstanding appointments, this function is available for tasks only, if this function were on CRM, we could check that appointments are being done, completed and that we can check employee activity not just based on tasks. Activity measurement is important, so ensuring that a sales person completes their activities means all activities

Reassign task after call, email prompt
Currently you are prompted with an option to send an email to the user that you assign a task to. This does not occur during the call/receive call workflow. Although you can reassign a task, there is no prompt to send an email reminder to the user. I suggest assigning this functionality to the workflow.

Schedule Database Indexing
Maximizer support told me that I should be re-indexing the database every 1-2 weeks to increase product performance.
If this is something that should be done on a routine, it should be part of the product and not something that customers are responsible for setting up.

"time a task"
Add to the 'Time a Task' feature a window where the user can make notes about what was, for example, done during the time consumed by this task timer. Also, in the resulting notes record of the task, add a record of the task duration and the subject line (similar to that done when a phone call is recorded to the notes record). Thx

Not have a user defined field that is set to create a task, create a task for everyone in our Maximizer group
Currently, if you set a user defined field to create a task, it creates the task for everybody using Maximizer. For example, we had set up Next Contact Date for a customer to create a task that showed up in the user's hotlist and My workday. What happened is that it created the same task for every user we have and all the replications showed up on everyone's hotlist and workday.

Bulk Activity Reassignment via Activities tab & Auto Reassign
The ability to have all tasks automatically reassigned when the Leader is changed on an Opportunity (formerly a feature of the Sales Plan/Strategy) is SORELY MISSED. Please put it back!!
Also you need to have the ability to bulk reassign tasks from the Activities tab rather than having to go all the way out of what you are doing and into the Hotlist page, and then having to do a custom search.... that's terrible! Please fix this!

Improve the process of making an appointment
With Maximizer 2016 I was been able to remove myself as organizer of an appointment, now a days it isn't possible for me anymore to remove the organizer of an appointment, which can be frustrating.
Now we have to remove the appointment in Maximizer, set the filter on the right name and make an appointment again. This process is like 3 steps longer than the old one.Old version: open the appointment > remove yourself > done.
New version: remove the appointment > set the filter on the right name > press the appointment button > make the appointment >…45 votes -

hotlist
when I am in hotlist, I cannot create a new task unless I go back to the address book and pick someone to start from. I can then mark it personal so it doesn't get connected to that person, but that is an extra and unnecessary step

Can Action Plan Tasks be dependent on completion of the previous task rather than the start date of the Action Plan?
For example, I send an original document away for approval and it takes about three weeks from the time I send it away to get it back. It would be nice to not have to calculate it from the start date of the Action Plan since there are several steps in between the start date and when I get my paws on the document to send it away. The actual time frame is rarely the same but the interval I want to set between tasks always is.
