Allow more than 5000 characters in notes
The character limit of 5,000 when entering a note for a client is far too low!! I'm constantly running up against this limit and having to make other arrangement (e.g. save separate document in files, split the note into two separate notes.
This is very frustrating as it makes following a set of notes much more complicated. This problem can be alleviated by increasing the limit to 20,000 characters or more or no limit at all!

I like the map view in the mobile app, when will this be available in the desktop?

Interactions workflow adds clicks for the user
There are too many clicks now when logging a call. If you want to log that you made a call and left a message it has gone from 2 clicks to 7!
Even the recording of call that you connect on adds clicks to start the timer - when this used to be on by default

Connect change option to save email to entry's interaction for Maximizer email
In the past we had a checkbox within the Maximizer email dialog that allowed us to select or unselect Save to Maximizer. This is gone and in my demo db and my production db my user always saves Maximizer email to documents. This is not necessarily the option I want every time. I want to select or unselect it.
In the past we had a Preference for this option to default. That preference is gone.
Assuming the setting is sticky, can the option be returned to the Maximizer email dialog?

Interactions dialog text box size
I think the dialog could be improved by making it possible to make the long form text box a bit wider. If we could expand it was we can with notes, there are times that a long text would be easier to read.

Button to Clear All Notifications
I’ve got a notification alert setup for when I’m assigned as Account Manager on an address book record, but with any global edit to that field I’m bombarded with notifications and have to clear them one-by-one to reclaim the rightmost 1/5th of my screen.
Request: When there are more than one notification toasts displayed to the user, include a button to "Clear All"

Global Edit option in the Hotlist Edit menu
A big issue I have with the Hotlist is the lack of a Global Edit option in the Edit menu, as I’d like to be able to select multiple records & alter the Priority field value on them to get more out of the system in terms of my daily planning. There is an option to Modify Task Date but that does only apply to Tasks & not Appointments, when it should work for both, & I'm guessing that the same constraint applies to the Reassign option as it's heading when selected is "Reassign Hotlist Tasks", so this whole Edit…

Include Duration UDFs as dashboard primary fields
Please include duration fields in the primary fields list, used when constructing a dashboard indicator. So their values can be averaged, summed, etc, in the indicator. They're not included at the moment. Formula fields are included, so it's not obvious why duration fields are not included.

Add user-defined validation formulas to user-defined fields
It looks like Maximizer is very close to having user-defined validation for user-defined fields. It looks like the "Mandatory based on rule" feature could be copied and adapted into a new "Validation based on a rule" feature. The difference being that the validation rule would look at the field's own input value, rather than the input values of other fields. And if the rule evaluated to True (say), the system would not save the record, and would pop up a message to say that the data input is not valid. The database administrator could write what data input is expected…

I would like to see links found in the column view to be clickable
Please make email address, weblinks clickable from the column. We are now including Dropbox links in our opportunities that direct users to where all the pictures are stored for a particular project.
This would allow us to have a column setup that we use when viewing opportunities from the address book that would include these links for easier access instead of having to jump back and forth among opportunities

Delete interactions record
If you delete a task or appointment it automatically deletes the related record but when you log a call and realize it was recorded against the wrong record you can delete the note that was logged but it does not delete the related interaction record.

Global edit of uncompleted action plan task activity description
Please add the option to apply a changed action plan task activity description to all uncompleted tasks previously scheduled from the action plan. From time to time we review an action plan, and clarify/improve the task activity descriptions within it. But there is no option to apply those same changes to uncompleted tasks that have been scheduled from the action plan already. We would like to be able to apply those changes to those tasks - a bit like a global edit. This is significant to us because we may have hundreds of tasks arising from multi-task action plans applied…

iNTERACTIONS
Interactions when used in Customer Service Cases or Opportunities (Accounts) should generate an email notice to monitors of the case, just as Notes does. Otherwise it does not have any value over notes.

Interactions logging should be optional
This new Interactions logging should be optional. i don't need more logs of notes i already am keeping. Also the foot note at the bottom of our phone call note should not be there as it makes our note void for compliance purposes. And interactions should be able to be deleted in case i make a mistake and need to make the correction it still stays logged in there - taking up space in your servers?
1 voteWe are moving to interactions. Phone notes won't be generated after 2022 R1. Deleting interaction log is supported in 2022 R1.

allow more field mapping between leads and opportunities
mirror fields available in opportunities to be also available in leads so they can be mapped to avoid entering the info in twice.

Allow leads fields to be edited
Allow the system fields in the leads module to be edited or hidden as many are not applicable to certain businesses and cause confusion for the user.

increase the email save with attachments to greater than 10 mb
Please increase the email save with attachments to greater than 10 mb. It should at least be as much as the document download limit of 50 mb.
