Data fields to perform validation on user entered input
In (most) fields that expect a date value (eg: Data UDFs, System Fields, Searching, Dashboards), if we are allowing free-text for entering dates, perform validation on the date before accepting it as valid input, and return a "not valid" pop-up in cases where it can't be converted to a real datetime value.

Column setup
Add the option to adjust the columns in the Customer Portal.
At this moment the columns can't be changed in the Customer Portal. there are a few colum views you can choose from, but not the option to add a UDF to a column.

Campaign - Retrive successful entries
When a campaign is aborted (for example due to wrong SMTP settings) the successful emails resp. address book entries that have received the email can't be retrieved.
Please add the possibility to "Retrieve address book entries by activity" - "Successful".

Account Lockout
Client has requested such a feature. This is important as we move further into the Enterprise and SaaS space, having Maximizer SQL accounts lockout (or deny access at the application level) when more than a configurable amount of failed attempts to login is encountered. Once locked out the user can have a reset link sent to their email address stored against the Maximizer user.

Security Settings
Our Wishes to break down the "Address Book" Security setup since if you allow a user to delete or insert an address book entry it applies to all "Address Book" type entries ie. Companies , contacts and individuals. The customer would like the security settings to be setup independently for Companies, Contacts and Individual. We will appreciate it if you can consider this feature enhancement since it is not our first requestl

WebAccess Emails and Outlook 'Sent Items'
One limitation of sending emails via the Maximizer Web Access is that it doesn't create an entry in Outlooks sent items.

Web Following Grid Tabs Order
Ability to order the tabs in the followingwindowsets.xml, at present when adding a new tab to the file, its appears as the first tab on the webaccess.

Maximizer - Word integration needs improvement - If adding an additional name to a merge field, it prints on all subsequent letters
Either fix the merge fields so you can choose First Name, Last Name or allow additions at the preview phase that don't get printed on the next letter.

Excel Add-In
Provide an add-in for Excel, similar to the Word add-in which is supplied with Maximizer. This would allow the use of Excel for quotes or other documents which would have addresses or other information linked to the Maximizer database.

Web Following Grid Framework Default Values
Set default values for checkbox widget and DropDown widget. Also the selected option should "stick" when moving from one company to another rather than resetting itself which is what happens now.

Ability to insert files into multiple contacts via global edit
While I am aware of how to perform a global edit for notes, there is no way of inserting a file. I know how to do it to one contact at a time, but it would be ideal if there was a way to select multiple users and add the same document to all in order to keep the item on file for each contact for historical contact record keeping purposes.

Update last modified date when saving email from Outlook add-in
When saving an email with the Maximizer Outlook add-in (Windows and Web ) the Last Modified Date of the record does not get updated. It should be.
18 votesThis is one of the fundamental behavior in Maximizer. When Notes and Documents are added to a record, the “Last Modified Date” is untouched.
