Copy note from one entry to another entry
We would like to see an option to transfer a note or multiple notes to an other entry. E.g. a note from an company to an opportunity, other company, individual etc.

Ability to change default font in Notes
Currently the default font for notes is Times New Roman. We would like the ability to change this because we prefer to have all our notes in Tahoma, size 2.

Access to Imported Records
When someone imports records into Maximizer, after the import all imported records FULL and READ access is set to Public.
Would not it be logical to setup access identical to Default Entry settings?7 votesWhose default entry to follow? If the administrator performs import, the imported entries shouldn't follow the default settings of the admin.

Search Stage Age
It is helpful to be able to present current stage age and the age of each stage of a sales process in column views but it is frustrating that we can't perform searches on the stage age (current or within each stage historically). If we could make searches in Advanced Search we could make useful dashboards about how many opps spend a month or a week in a certain stage.

Save and track global edit
I would like to be able to globally allow e-mails to be saved into Maximizer by having a new menu to allow all e-mails to be automatically saved under whether you decide to save them per contact or household level.
Currently saving each and every incoming and outgoing client e-mail for each user via "save and track" is much too time consuming. We need a way to globally edit it.

Allow a custom web application to add a new font icon to the icon bar
In Max 2016 it was still possible to add an icon to a custom entry in the Icon bar by creating the appropriate png files and adding them to the images\shortcuts folder. Since 2017 and the change to use a font to place the image before the entry this functionality no longer works (although it is still in the documentation !!). Can we have a way of adding our own entry icon using the new font method ?

Add the company name field to consolidated activity report details
Currently the details list only date time and note. Adding the company name to this detail report would be beneficial as you can't link to the record itself.

Conditional merge fields in email/word merge processor
Allow IF...THEN.. ELSE conditional block structures within the content of merged messages. This would allow existing field data to be assessed as each merge content is generated and then only display the given block of content if that condition is true/false.
eg: {IF [Title] = NULL THEN "Dear [First Name] ELSE "Dear [Title] [Last Name]" }

Set Process when inserting opportunity via SQL
We often use maximizer.data or maximizer.web.data to get the relevant ids and then do the insert or update operations required via sql. However when inserting an opportunity in 2017 via sql, there doesn't seem to be a way to set the process (default or otherwise).
A stored proc or documented way of doing this would be nice.

'Print All' Button in History & Audit Tabs
We need the ability to 'print all' items displayed in the History and Audit Tab.
In History you can print the individual entries but not in a single report.
The Audit tab has no print options at all.This is becoming a requirement due to clients needing to create reports under the data protection act.

Extend the Address Format options to include UDF's and/or Keyfield layouts to include Basic fields
An improvement that would make the product more suitable for outbound service/support people involves making appointments & including sufficient detail in the description.
For any client who isn’t office/desk-bound, the important thing is to be able to quickly & easily see what spare time slots are available, in a particular area ie there’s no point in making an appointment at 2pm in the far North of the city if the ones either side are in the South. Being able to look at the calendar display & see the suburbs in the appointment description is what is needed.

Opportunity field Mandatory based on rule
Allow to create the mandatory rule for Opportunity based on Address Book fields.
Example :
if the Company "Category" = "Reseller", the UDF "End customer" on the opportunity must be mandatory.26 votes -

Trouble finding Opportunity/Case when saving email from Outlook Toolbar
This comes up from different customers for different reasons, but it is essentially the same issue. The user can't easily find the correct record to save the email against.
If the user has "Confirm when saving email" turned on (which I would always recommend doing anyway), the initial list returned may not show enough unique information to identifiy the correct record to save the email against.
This becomes more a problem as the length of the initial list returned grows as the sort order is not obvious.To help find the correct record you can use the manual search feature,…

We need to be able to hide or display items of table fields (UDF and basic field) based on security groups.

phone message details
Phone message - when a user makes a phone call and leaves a message, we'd like to see a text box that allows user entry of some details that will be logged in the notes (e.g. as with the content of the typical phone call details.

The Date Last Contacted field- intelligent global edit needed for existing databases
The Date Last Contacted field would be very useful- except for the fact that, as a brand new feature, almost my entire database is blank on this field. There needs to be a way to do an intelligent auto-update global edit for this field, setting it to whatever the last time a note was logged for the entry. That would be VERY useful, as I cannot see any value in having this field otherwise (except for people who are just now getting started creating a Maximizer database).

Notes - No horizontal scrollbar
There does not appear to a horizontal scrollbar in the Notes dialog since the release of 2017 - resizing the window appears to be the only way you can read text that has gone off screen and to move back to the left you can only use things like the Home button.

Customer Service Process
Create Customer Service Processes similar to Opportunity Processes in 2017. The ability to create various process for servicing various products/services would be a great feature. Also include the stage time gaps UDFs also to track the progress of the service cases.
