  1. entry icon

    The Entry Type Icon has been replaced with Entry Icon. The two things serve a different purpose and I believe having Entry Type Icon back is necessary. The concept of an Individual (or Household) is distinct in Maximizer and it confuses users. Having the icon makes it easier to see what you are looking for wiithout the long text of Entry Type.

  2. Set preferred email address

    Currently, if a preferred email address is not in the top field, I copy/paste to show this. Can you let us pin the best option the way phone numbers & Addresses can be assigned to use for entry?

  3. I hate the look of this latest update. How about you give us our colors back.

    If some people want monochrome let them chose that as an option don't force it on everyone. I prefer the previous color theme I've been using.

  4. Timeline content layout

    I really like the timeline concept, but I do not like the display of the note/interaction data. I much prefer the way notes or interactions are listed. The timeline is clumsy to read through quickly. It is hard to spot what you are looking for and work fast with this presentation. I had same problem with the history tab.

  5. Zap pollling action that triggers just once

    I’ve created a zap that triggers when a case is polled and a field is set to Yes. I’m wondering if there is a setting that would trigger this zap only one time.

    The use case is this.

    I have a Yes/No field for ACCEPTED which is a specific request applied to cases. When a case is first set to ACCPETED = Yes we want this email to go out. That works fine as is.

    Later, if a user edits the case, the ACCEPTED value remains Yes and another email goes out. Can we suppress the 2nd…

  6. Make it easier to copy fields like phone, email, SIN, DOB etc.

    For every single field in an address book, make it easy to copy into the clipboard. It is too hard to drag the mouse over a field like a phone number or email.

    There should be a little icon to the right of every field that when I hover over, says "copy to clipboard", and when I click it, it copies the data to a clipboard.

    I do this all day long, especially trying to copy emails since maximizer does the dumbest thing possible when I click the email hyperlink (ie. anything other than opening my email client with anything…

  7. One-way contact Synchronization to Gmail Address Book

    Either:
    - each contact or other address book has an "add/update to gmail" button. it updates the contact with a "maximizer label in gmail". I do this manually.

    • the above but for a favorites list or some other query. Anything in the list replaces contact in gmail when I press the synchronize button. It happens only manually.

    Or even a button for each address book entry (worse than above but workable) — make vcard for contact entry. it etiher downloads to my desktop or you email it to me or something.

    Why do I want this?

    Because I use google…

  8. Hide basic fields

    Allow users a 'hide' option to all system fields in all modules (First Name, Department, Products/Services, etc.). If the field is set to hidden, the field would not display in the entry dialog. Many clients complain about the fact that we have near total ability to customize key fields and no ability to customize the basic fields.

  9. Google calendar integration doesn't include related attendees

    I've set up my Google Calendar integration. It works. Google calendar has a feature to identify the invited party (in addition to the person scheduling it). When I look at the Maximizer appointment, I see the scheduler's email address but not the email address of the invited parties in Google. Kind of defeats the purpose because I already know the scheduler (me).

  10. Entry History

    Please recreate the "history" tab for all entries. It was very helpful to see who was responsible for entry edits and when they were made.

  12. Outlook Integration - saving emails to new and existing contacts

    Currently if you try to save an email to Maximizer including a distribution list that includes existing contacts and new contacts, the integration only detects the existing entries and doesn't bring up the 'create new entry' dialogue.

    The only way around this is to manually create the new contacts in Maximizer first.

    The suggestion is for the Integration to be able to detect existing contacts, but also provide the 'create new entry' dialogue as well.

  13. Email Campaigns need tracking clocks and replies

    At this moment the email campaign are tracking only opens and unsubscribes. But more important is having the clicks tracked since they show the level of interest too. The replies need to be tracked also for better accountability.

  15. accessability

    Software needs to be accessible to those with disabilities or compatible with accessibility software like ZoomText, JAWS and Voice Over.

    I will use the term Universal instead of accessible because I believe business should make their products/services universal so anyone of any age, race, gender or ability can use it independently.

    I was told via Online Chat that Maximizer is not yet universal (accessible). I would encourage this to be changed. If you cannot make the software accessible on its on I do suggest partnering with ZoomText, or JAWS or the team at Apple that works on VoiceOver to ensure…

  16. New 'User' UDF Type

    Addition of a 'User' UDF type that is basically a table of all current Maximizer users in the organization. We have several UDFs that contain users, such as 'Recruiter', 'First Contact Person', 'Last Contact Person', etc. When adding a new user to Maximizer, an administrator must also go to each of those UDF tables and add the new user to that table. If we could have a UDF type that just always contains all users in the organization, it would help remove that redundancy. Thank you!

  17. Make creation date editable in interactions.

    Ability to change creation date in interatictions for to do items as was possible previously when to do items were logged into notes.

  18. I am complaining about bugs and new features which are terrible and taking away old features which was great

    the new maximizer software rolled out in june 2022 is terrible, there are bugs: search function and changes to features which are terrible (elimination of notes as the center of the contacts data. taking away feature of typing the contacts name in the address field to get me to it without going to search.. )

    you guys are adding new features which is stupid (eg interactions tab), taking away features such as search right on the contact addr which is unbelievably stupid.

    i would FIRE all of technology developers who tried to fix what is not broken in the attempt…

  19. Add the option to delete multiple interactions at once

    In documents and notes (and most other places) you can select multiple records and delete them at the same time, this can be useful for certain workflows or just tidying records up.
    Interactions only allows you to delete records one at a time. This is inconsistent with almost everywhere else in Maximizer and much more time consuming to delete multiple records

  20. Individualized Campaign Start Dates

    I would like to be able to create campaigns with a flexible start date. For example, when a client receives an estimate and is added to the campaign, the campaign starts at the beginning for that client.

    Or, after a client signs a contract, a campaign could be used to send information to them at specific times prior to the project starting.

    Another vital use would be to assign a campaign to send follow up emails after a project has been completed.

    And being able to assign it to from an opportunity would be ideal.
