Change Log
I would love to see any data changes to a company /contact/ individual being logged into the history - ie. address change, company change, email address change. (ex: July 18, 2012 Email Change: john.smith@abc.com --> jsmith@abc.com).
Currently you can't tell if any information has been updated, or what it was updated from!

The auditing feature for Address Book entries was introduced in Maximizer CRM 2015 release. Auditing for opportunities and cases was added in the following releases. In Address Book, Opportunities and Customer Service modules, you will find the Auditing following tab which shows the changes made in each entry. There is also a system audit report inside Adminstrator module that shows all the changes made by all users across the whole system. The system report can be exported to Excel for further analysis.

FYI At CABC we do have available our Max Audit product, it is a SQL trigger suite that principally monitors deletions. This usually helps flag up those users with too many permissions. It can trace deletion of most of the main record types Clients, Contacts, Opportunities, Cases, Documents, Notes and a number of other items. Custom tracing could be added on a per customer basis.
I don't think change history should go in the notes (although clearly an easy option) as it would creates too much verbose and low value information. It should be its own Audit tab.

I want a note under history - user X updated address/email/contacts etc.

I believe what you want is an audit log of the complete history of all field changes. This is something that's always been on our feature backlog. This is a major undertaking though. We will take a more serious consideration of this in a future release.
