Combining an Individual to become a Contact of A Company
Currently (Maximizer CRM 12), it is impossible to Combine an Individual to become a Contact of a Company. In order to do this, an intermediate step is required: the Individual has to be converted into a Company first. The Individual then becomes a Contact of a Company and can be Combined into another Company.
It would be great if the intermediate step of converting an Individual into a Contact of a Company could be eliminated in a future version.

We also wish to do the reverse, convert a company to an individual, where historically a large number of individuals were set up as companies !

were were told to make everyone an individual, only to learn that now we need to convert all individuals to a company then attach them as a contact.. Way too many steps and very time consuming, The production level of our office has now deteriorated because we are spending so much time trying to get a system that does not work properly ( and we spent a fair bit of money ) hoping that it would be set up properly initially.

Hopefully this is done soon, and when it is, it would also be nice to see the "Move selected Contact" button in the web version to the workstation version - I am NEVER able to get the drag and drop to a new company to work , it's a nightmare. When I found the "move selected contact" button in the web version I was so happy , and then confused as to why it's not in the workstation version

I agree this is very confusing for customers. Maximizer should automatically convert the individual before combining it with a company record.

Yes Please. We have to do this often, and it seems like a huge oversight.
