  1. The Date Last Contacted field- intelligent global edit needed for existing databases

    The Date Last Contacted field would be very useful- except for the fact that, as a brand new feature, almost my entire database is blank on this field. There needs to be a way to do an intelligent auto-update global edit for this field, setting it to whatever the last time a note was logged for the entry. That would be VERY useful, as I cannot see any value in having this field otherwise (except for people who are just now getting started creating a Maximizer database).

  3. Field Validation

    Maximizer CRM needs field validation such as is available in other CRM's. Ex: Postal Code Canada: A9A 9A9; Postal Code US: 99999 or 99999-9999; Phone number Canada & US: 9-999-999-9999

  4. Different relationship type for the reverse link

    If you create a relationship and choose to "relate in reverse order" you are assigning the same type description to both links. This means example like Parent Company or Owner do not make sense from the other direction. This tick box should open a 2nd drop down and relationship pairs should be able to be pre-defined or use assigned.

  5. Security Settings

    Our Wishes to break down the "Address Book" Security setup since if you allow a user to delete or insert an address book entry it applies to all "Address Book" type entries ie. Companies , contacts and individuals. The customer would like the security settings to be setup independently for Companies, Contacts and Individual.   6. Conditional mandatory on system fields

    We are able to create conditional mandatory fields on UDFs. What about system fields like First Name, Last Name and Email Address? All three are required for Sync with MailChimp = Yes.

    Example - I want to force First, Last and Email to be mandatory if Sync with MailChimp = Yes.

  7. Add notes to multiple contacts or companies at once

    I would like to be able to add notes to multiple contacts/companies/individuals at once. We occasionally have multiple customers attend the same meeting. It would be great to highlight all of those customers, and add a manual note and be able to input the information from the meeting.

  8. Regarding the position field It is too short. Increase the field from 79 to 150.

    Regarding the position field It is too short. Increase the field from 79 to 150. Importing from another source I receive the error and nothing is imported. Contact -> In column Employee Title mapped to Position: The cell value 'Vice President & Director, Floating Technology Applications (Floating Oil & Gas Solutions)' is too long to fit in the field, which fits 79 characters

  9. Move multiple contacts to a different company at once (instead of one by one)

    I am cleaning up my contact database and have many contacts that need to be moved to new companies. Instead of doing it one-by-one, it would be so much easier if I could select multiple contacts and move them all at once.

  10. Ability to reassign a Task from one Contact to another

    Contacts often change within an organisation & it use to be possible to reassign a Task from one Contact to another in such circumstances, but this disappeared at some point making the use of the Hotlist more difficult. Can this ability please be reinstated

  12. Address book - auto search discontinued in April 21, 2021 upgrade. WHY?

    Removing this feature makes navigating in address book very cumbersome. Our entire office is not impressed with this change. Is there a way to change this back immediately to the great feature of auto typing to bring up the next client? Our entire office is not happy with this change.

  13. Notes - No horizontal scrollbar

    There does not appear to a horizontal scrollbar in the Notes dialog since the release of 2017 - resizing the window appears to be the only way you can read text that has gone off screen and to move back to the left you can only use things like the Home button.

  14. Default Entry - Make the COMPANY default entry dialogue box not to import the fields entered into the CONTACT default entry dialogue box !

    Default Entry - The company will have reception telephone and fax, as headers for specific entry of details, the contact will have other numbers, DDI, Mobile, email, Skype etc. But there seems no way to divide the two. Entry into the company default is fine then enter the specific basic header data into the contact default and it then appears in the company default also? AAAAAhhhh

  15. Leads - Do Not Create Opportunity option

    When using the Leads module you can Convert the entry to an Address Book entry.

    When doing so you are presented the option to create an Opportunity at the same time. There is also the check box available for 'Do Not Create Opportunity'.

    However, there is no option to enable this checkbox by default. This would be useful if you are a business that either doesn't use the Opportunity module, or creates Opportunities manually at a later time.

  16. Increase length of basic fields

    Please add the option to increase the length of the basic fields or just increase them out-of-the-box. The amount of characters isn't enough.

  17. Make the Leads section useful.

    While I like Maximizer to a great extent, but the “Leads” section is awful with it leaning heavily to being borderline useless (to put it politely). There is no description field so you cannot list what the heck you are chasing (much less give you team a clue as to why the heck it is even on there) and there is no way to attach a email/document to the lead and/or add a note.

    Also, 90% of our leads come from a contact our address book and I find it odd that you can assign an Opportunity to a contact…

  18. update "Favorite reports" to dynamic reporting from static

    Currently the favorite reports are static. by this I mean when you run the report under search and save it in favorites it is a snap short of that current condition and does not account for any changes or additions.

    As a simple example, if you have acitve and non active clients and you create a favourits report to only show active clients then each time you add a new client or you have a client move on you need to re run these reports from scratch and then save them again. This also applies when you are correcting data…

  19. Leads - mandatory option for basic fields

    It is possible to set Mandatory fields in other modules for basic fields, but the option is not available for the Leads module.

    A customer provided an example of the fact they have 2 teams handling leads - 'Team A' creating Leads and then 'Team B' processing the Leads further.

    It would be beneficial for the customer to have the option to make some basic fields in the module mandatory.

  20. Provide the ability to link a Suburb to a Zip Code

    When adding a new AB entry, be able to have Max prompt the 1 or perhaps 2 Zip codes that are available to match the City/Town field. Eg, here in Perth WA, Perth city has a zip/post code of 6000, a neighbouring suburb Burswood is 6012 etc, so we'd need to be able to maintain a table of these, which would need an import facility as the list is available from our postal service
