Maximizer compatibility with '64Bit' Outlook
Maximizer needs to be COMPATIBLE with '64Bit Outlook'.
Going forward, a large number of PC's are being sold with 64Bit software nowadays, and many customers are upgrading to 64Bit Operating systems; therefore the Integration between Maximizer and 64Bit Outlook is a must!!!
For Maximizer CRM web access (on premise and CRM Live), we now fully support 64bit Outlook. Hope this helps.

John, SAAS is good or bad - bad on an outhouse server farm, of course. https://www.lifehacker.com.au/2013/02/why-cloud-services-are-so-easy-to-hack/ points out the obvious "
Cloud services aren't fundamentally vulnerable because they're badly designed; they're vulnerable because they are used by people who can easily be manipulated via social engineering..." We wouldn't dream of storing your contact data or Notes about you there. What is a 64 bit non-cloud revision please, John or someone? We paid $150 for Rev. 7 on an auction site and must return it. Are we being pushed to Look Out!

In response to George Beard - Hi George, Microsoft stopped mainstream support of Windows 7 on January 14th 2015, & all/any remaining support for it will cease Jan 14th, 2020, so it really would be better to be moving to a more current environment such as Windows 10 to achieve some longevity from your purchases. The latest version of Maximizer (the only one you can buy now) does work under a 64bit op-sys, & in a cloud environment - you'll be best to speak to a local Maximizer agent. If you need any advice to achieve this please visit https://www.maximizer.com/about-us/contact-us/

The BrightChange public charity has run a large Maximizer97 database encrypted under Vista compatibility mode. Now svchost hogs 2GB. So we plan to run 64 bit Windows 7 on a faster, 8 GB PC. Maximizer97 can't run in 64 bit compatibility . Will some newer version work in 64 bit OS 7?

Hi trying to install Maximizer add in for Outlook 2013 and 64 bit Windows 10 pro, get a message that 64 bit must be installed during install. This is installed by default. It won't run, tried to remove office and install again still no joy, have reassigned default programs for outlook and same issue as before. Any guidance appreciated.

Maximizer CRM 12: beeping every 30 seconds. Whatever program I am in, I hear a beeping tone and my computer reverts to the open Maximizer program. Beeping and this issue only happens when I have Maximizer open. NO Alarms are set and no dialog box shows up. Annoying and cant use the program. Very frustrating and hoping someone has an answer

All new PC's ordered with Office are coming with 64-bit Office installed. Telling a client they have to create a DVD of their Office install, uninstall Office on their brand new machine and re-install the 32-bit version of Office = unhappy clients!
Despite the architectural difficulties mentioned by Joseph, I hope that MSI can deliver Windows Access integration with 64-bit Office with the next release of Maximizer CRM!

I have been running Maximizer 12 summer release on Windows 8 (64bit) using Office 2013 (32bit) applications. (The 64 bit do not have all the drivers available as yet, especially Tapi) Other than the odd crash, the system functions very well.

Outlook Add-in for Web Access will have 64bit Outlook support in the upcoming Winter release.
It is a much bigger architectural task to have Windows Access support 64 bit Outlook. It may require Maximizer Windows client to run in 64 bit mode.

You can still run 32 bit Office on 64 bit OS.
Actually this is still recommended and default setup unless you really need 64 bit Office like in rare situation of handling extremely large Excel spreadsheets.
There is no advantage of running 64 bit Outlook.
