    Windows 8 and Office 2013 will be supported with Maximizer Winter 2012 release coming up at the end of this year.
    Maximizer Enterprise 12 still should be able to run on Windows 8 and except synchronization with Outlook 2013 caused by change in Outlook, most of the other areas should work.

    Maximizer should not be run as administrator and does not need Windows 7 mode.

    Can you please be precise on timing of the locking?
    Is it happening when you log in?
    Are you using Outlook synchronization?
    What other functions in Maximizer related to Microsoft Office you are using?
