I think it would be very helpful if I can click on call a contact and have it dial via Skype. Huge productivity increase. Thanks

This has now been added to a recent release, such that the Timed Notes feature can started from a Lync or Skype call.
The configuration to set this up is located un Administration\Preferences\System Options where you can setup the VOIP/IM Integration.
Once configured here, it can be accessed from the Details Tab of the Address book using the little phone and note pad icon under the address info.

Skype comes with browser plug-ins for the most popular web browsers. It automatically detects any text on any web page that looks like phone numbers, and allow you to click on the number to dial with Skype:

The solution should, in theory, work with Maximizer Web Acess.

That link goes nowhere... is there an updated link where we can find an add-on for skype integration? By the way, I am using the desktop version and I don't want to use the cloud version.

Hi Stephen, as mentioned by Harriet, an add-on is required in order for Maximizer to make a call through Skype. I hope that helps, let me know if you want more details. Thanks!

Connie, it doesn't seem like you addressed the question regarding Skype. Can I use Maximizer to make a call through Skype??

Hi Anonymous! Maximizer already has an offering in the 'cloud' Maximizer CRM Live, check out http://www.maximizer.com/crm-live/features.html! We are also planning to have a tablet version supporting iPads, Androids and Blackberry Playbook, coming in July, 2012.

Coupled with Skype, Maximizer could offer a "cloud" version of its software. A "cloud" version of Maximizer could integrate well with I-pads, Android pads and the BB Playbook. It could create an important and growing market for Maximizer.

This can be done! One of Maximizer's assigned business partners has created this functionality; please see this link: http://www.asp-maximizer.com/home.php?type=Add-Ons
