Date last contacted on opportunity
We would like to see an Date Last Contacted on the opportunity. It should be updated based on selected note or document activity on the opp itself. It would be better still if the feature monitored changes at the address book and cascaded an update one or both ways (user option). So, if I meet with the client and make a note in the address book or the opp, the address book and opp 'Last Contacted' would update. If I update a note on the opp, then the user can opt to update just the opportunity date or also the address book date.
In our Column View for following up Opportunities we use the Last Modified Date field. Not as good as date for last Manual Note as a subsequent group mailout will become the last modified date.

How about a customer service case. Same story adding notes or any other action on a case is also a contact moment.
In regards to 'any note added', what if it's a note to schedule contact? Or an account update that had nothing to do with contacting the client or opp?
Suggestion: Maybe there should be multiple fields for this? Last contact, last update, last active?
I'm not sure I am reading this correctly but here are my thoughts. I think that any update on an opportunity should also be reflected in the notes. I also think that any note added should be reflected as the "date last contacted" across the board.
