This is the search Dialogue, very minor change but it really should remember the users last preference either replace or in my case Append the search.

It's very frustrating either Replacing all records with the search result.
Or alternatively having to change the default from Replace to Append EVERY TIME. Maximizer should remember our last choice or let us set the default, please...

For the second time we have deleted an entire company record instead of the contact which was meant to go. As you say restoring a deleted client is not a quick process.
It will cost me almost $700 to have the full database re-mounted to copy and transfer the one record.
So an Un-Delete option for the last 1 or 2 records would be a great help!
I will list the Un-Delete as a Suggestion.

    Agreed Sean.
I'd go one step further and allow user defined stakeholders with the ability to link to contacts within the customers business or external businesses.
    MAXIMIZER ARCHITECTURE
This would be a fundamental change to Maximizer's architecture.
Create an Opportunity FIRST then link the stakeholders.
For example in our case: Link a Client, their Architect, the Builder (or builders). As you say, just like adding Partners and Competitors.

THE CLIENT IS NOT IMPORTANT, THE JOB IS! LINK THE CLIENT TO THE JOB.

This also has the benefit of being able to start an Opp immediately the phone rings, no need to add an address book entry before we can record details of their opportunity.

We also need to maintain a Job record for warranty purposes. So no point starting an Opp for the Architect, nor the Engineer, Builder or Plumber who finally orders our product?

Currently we have to create an Address Book Entry for the Site eg 100 Smith Road, Smithtown then an Opp. If we help the Engineer with a specification it goes into the Opp. When we quote pricing it all gets recorded against the Opp. And finally our Warranty details are recorded in a Cust Serv Case for that Record.

There is no other way unless we can create an Opp or Job FIRST then link stakeholders to it.

I ABSOLUTELY agree. It has been a big frustration being unable to move Opportunities. Consultants contact on budget pricing yet we won't know the Owners identity till a builder contacts us for pricing. The Opp needs to be moved to our end customer for their 20 Year Warranty. We need the ability to export Opportunities (and Customer Service Cases) to a different Address Book Record.

In our Column View for following up Opportunities we use the Last Modified Date field. Not as good as date for last Manual Note as a subsequent group mailout will become the last modified date.
Hope this provides an interim solution.

You might have a look at the Hybrid UDFs where you can use formula's with UDF fields to get the desired number of %. You may then be able to use it in the Dashboard?

    planned  ·  Maximizer Admin responded

We will add important missing functionalities from Windows to Web access in the nearest releases. This feature is in the Roadmap and should be implemented in one of the upcoming releases.

This is a significant problem the current Long Date takes up way too much width on the screen/page.
As Alison mentions this was planned back in Aug 2016, is there any news on its release??

Surely it is a simple job??
We have just migrated to Maximizer Web version and will have to change the column width of ALL of our COLUMN VIEWS!

This is a regular situation as contacts move on. Ideally we would be able to mark them as inactive then Hide or View them. I have customers with 50 inactive contacts (we add xx to end of surname to identify) and have to scroll through them each time to get to the active contact we need.
This would be a great addition.

This is really frustrating. Very large organisations need to narrow the current cases down to those created by a single user but ALL OTHER organisations would be after All Current Cases. This really is needed ASAP.

This has driven me nuts for years, please add ALL CURRENT CASES, it is the Most needed of all!!

A new Manufacturing module has been released or is close. This might provide the same functionality??
Really need a seamless flow from Opportunity to Delivery and then Warranty (Cust Serv?).

Either link the docs or alternatively cut or copy docs from one module and paste them to another module? Very frustrating when someone has sent an e-mail from Address Book instead of the actual Opportunity and it can't be moved.
