when importing csv entry list... if entry is a duplicate it should give an option whether to 'update the entry' or 'leave entry unchanged'.
Rather than automatically updating or creating a duplicate it should give the user an option what action to take. Also in the email report it should state which entries were updated and which entries were flaged as a duplicate therefore left unchanged.
in 2017 you are able to select which column in the csv file will be used as a duplicate checker. you are able to determine whether to update overwrite or skip values based on that match. the skipped ones are put into a separate file for you to review and then reimport with different options

In one of our future applications of CRM Live, we will have the need to create duplicates from an import, and currently CRM Live will only update the existing record. We are using CRM Live for after sale contact for Automobile and Motorcycle Dealer customers. In this application the customer will often have multiple vehicles where UDFs have been assigned to keep track of Model Names, Vehicle Identification Numbers, etc., and CRM Live will automatically overwrite existing UDFs. Is there anyway to create an exception to this rule.
