  1. Improve Column Setups

    Make it easier to create and modify column setups:
    - Drag & Drop fields to add/remove headings
    - make preview with some sample data appear in the same space

    Over recent releases we have been implementing improvements to handling of column setups and how these are managed within the various list views – row height and width etc.

    We will continue to introduce UI and UX improvements going forward to make the solution even easier to work with.

  2. Change Default for Yes/No UDF

    At present if a Yes/No UDF is mandatory, when creating a new company/contact the system will automatically allocate No as the default without prompting the user for an answer. Could this UDF always prompt for an answer if it is made mandatory.

  3. Allow Hotlist Tasks To Be Sorted By Completion Date

    My boss built his hotlist task using a custom date range. He then accidently completed all of his tasks. In a panic he tried unplugging his coputer to kill the process but we run our computers off servers and unplugging did nothing. Maximizer crm should allow users to sort hotlist tasks by completion date as that's not currently an option to even have as a column it only allows users to sort by or search by creation date.

  4. Increase Maximum Upload sizes in the Web Client

    The 4MB limit for web access uploads is too small for many customers who wish to load larger documents and emails with attachments. The Maximum upload size needs to be configurable by the administrator - possibly on a per user basis.

  5. Email Reminder for Hotlist Tasks

    Since we now support email reminders for appointments to support mobile access users, we should also support email reminders in hotlist tasks. Otherwise, there is no alter for mobile access users to deal with a task.

  6. Add ability to Copy Appointment in the Calendar

    A customer of ours has suggested it would be really useful to be able to copy an appointment in the Calendar, and paste this on a different date, so they don't have to re-enter the details again.

  7. Make the UDF Add Items feature a dynamic grid instead of loading a separate screen

    Adding multiple items to a Table UDF is a very slow process when you have to wait through each reload of the Items screen and the New Item screen. Switch to either a more dynamic grid object or create a multi-item add option that can take a larger number of values in one go.

  8. Partner Portal: access to Customer Services cases

    It would be nice to be able to access the CS cases from the client's record without going to the "CS module".

  9. Field Validation

    Maximizer CRM needs field validation such as is available in other CRM's. Ex: Postal Code Canada: A9A 9A9; Postal Code US: 99999 or 99999-9999; Phone number Canada & US: 9-999-999-9999

  10. UDF Description fields

    When you create a UDF you have the option of writing a brief description of the purpose of that field. When you come to add a UDF value this description is visible in the desktop application but not in the web client. Could it be added to the web client, ideally to be visible when you "float over" the field name?

  11. Default Entry - Make the COMPANY default entry dialogue box not to import the fields entered into the CONTACT default entry dialogue box !

    Default Entry - The company will have reception telephone and fax, as headers for specific entry of details, the contact will have other numbers, DDI, Mobile, email, Skype etc. But there seems no way to divide the two. Entry into the company default is fine then enter the specific basic header data into the contact default and it then appears in the company default also? AAAAAhhhh

  12. Allow complex queries for Dashboard indicators and enable users to scale indicators

    Many people want to make a dashboard indicator from multi-select table fields and the way Maximizer uses the fields makes this useless.

    What we should be able to do is derive a bar chart or pie chart from a SQL Query. But currently you can only use a single number result from a query.

    Another common dashboard item request is to show a bar chart of the number of notes made by each user for a period of time. It’s a trivial query to write, but at the moment you have to write one for each user.

  15. Option to restrict users from free-typing into basic fields with drop-down lists (such as Position or Opportunity Objective)

    Currently, users can free-type into any basic fields that have a drop-down list (such as "Position" or Opportunity "Objective") even when they don't have the Access Right "Modify System Tables" which enables them to add items to the drop-down list.

    One of our biggest customers needs to be able to restrict this so that the users can only select from the list, not free-type into these fields.

  16. Universal Search

    Maximizer should add a universal search similar to a search engine(e.g. google, bing, yahoo, etc.) that looks at all the maximizer entries notes, companies, individual , UDF, etc. This would dramatically improve the power of maximizer.

  17. Ability to access alternate email address if contact has multiple emails

    If a client has more than one email address the only way to use the alternate email is to open the contact window and then cut and paste the alternate email address.

  18. Date UDF issue with "Include in Hotlist" attribute

    Date UDF's that have the "Include in Hotlist" attribute have one major flaw: a Hotlist task is added to all Maximizer users!

    As an example, we have one called "Next Follow-Up Date". Even though I didn't add it to the client records, I received 4 tasks in my Hotlist today!

    Can a future version of Maximizer CRM track who added a date UDF with this attribute to a client record and add the Hotlist task to that user's record only? Or even better, change the attribute to 2 attributes: "Add to all Hotlists" and "Add to user's Hotlist who used…

  19. Support "Friendly" Company Names

    In many scenarios, a Company will have a formal name (International Business Machines) and a colloquial name (IBM). We should have a facility that allows me to record both values in the Company record. When performing a Company search, it should incorporate both the existing "Company" field, and the new "friendly" field. That way, I can search for either "International Business Machines" or "IBM" and be taken to the same record.
