Skip blank fields in Word integration
When using the v12 Word integration, we would like the ability to not print and trim out blank fields and not print blank rows. Examples of problem fields for this type of integration would be Middle Name and Address Line 2. If some records have a Middle Name and/or an Address Line 2, presently I can't use Word merge fields effectively because some records have extra spaces and extra lines. If the merge fields had an option to 'Not print if field is Blank' this issue would be resolved. Presently the NameandAddress object does skip blank lines but…

Include attachments with email templates
The email templatges are great and save a lot of time. A nice improvement would be the ability to store a template with mutiple attachments. This way if my template is a meeting confirmation then the attachment could be a map of the venue.
This is important for Financial Services clients who cannot rely on their clients to follow links to files and must be able to show the content of correspondence.

Ability to insert files into multiple contacts via global edit
While I am aware of how to perform a global edit for notes, there is no way of inserting a file. I know how to do it to one contact at a time, but it would be ideal if there was a way to select multiple users and add the same document to all in order to keep the item on file for each contact for historical contact record keeping purposes.

Please add the possibility to also setup columns for all windows including Notes, Documents and so on. The standard column setup is sometimes not detailed enough.

Attach multiple contacts to a custoemr service case
Sometimes you need to attach multiple contacts to a case. This is particularly important if the case is created from an incomming email where muliple people are CCd. At present this would create multiple cases.

When we receive an email notification (task or appointment), we should be able to access the contact's record directly from that notification.

Inconsistent / confusing search behaviour when searching Address Book fields from Case/Opportunity windows
Maximizer has the options to search/display user defined fields from the address book entry in the case/opportunity windows, but they are not consistent.
If an address book field is added to the column setup in the case/opportunity windows Maximizer always displays the value against the company attached to the case/opportunity. It doesn’t matter if there is a contact associated with the case/opportunity or not.
When doing an All Fields search in either the case/opportunity window Maximizer and selecting address book user defined fields, Maximizer will search fields from the contact if one is attached or company fields if no contact…

Create the ability to send to SMS straight from Maximizer. This way one could opt in to receive information straight to their phone.

Add an Asset Management Module
Understanding what clients have purchased and their respective warranty, service, and option history is essential for account management. We current use the "customer service" module for this purpose, however, it would be best if "ASSET MANAGEMENT" was a discrete module.
Assets could have UDFs that are application specific. They could be created from the products that are included in an opportunity. Once an opportunity status changes to WON, the information could be transitioned to a COMPANY asset.
This would add a life-cycle component that is very valuable, differentiates from other CRM, and saves time, and provides extremely useful information.

Intelligent Links in Address Book and Opportunity Views
Change the functionality of Links within the Views to be specific to the list itself.
For instance when viewing Opportunities if you click on the Company/Individual link, it takes you to the Opportunity view rather than the view of that company or individual. While you can do this via a right click/select, it would be easier and intuitive to directly link to that entity.
Other smart links could be created:
- email address - opens default email client
- phone number - automatically opens a, make call, note

Ability to delete or otherwise restrict access to the <Default Key Fields>. Otherwise allow edit of the name so this can be re-purposed.

Hotlist should allow Searching on Fields - including but not limited to : Action Plan Library, Activity/Subject, Case Number, Case Subject, Opportunity Objective, Priority, Resources etc

'Products/Services' at company level
We currently have a UDF for this, but want to automatically fill in a case with the companies product/service when a case is created for them. Out-of-the-box functionality for this would be an excellent improvement.

Calendar Appointment in HTML
Calendar Appointment in HTML - I would like to see the ability to add bullet points into calendar appointments so the agenda of the appointment can be easily read when emailed.

contact / company input, capitalize the first letter of words as in the previous versions
data entry companies / individuals, capitalize the first letter of words as in the previous versions. It is absent in ver 12 for the most part
