Drag & Drop Emails from Outlook to save inside Maximizer
Right now, dragging an email from Outlook saves only the subject of the email.

Hide Inactive Contacts
Instead of deleting a Contact from the database outright, the user should be able to flag a Contact as "hidden". This allows the Contact's historical information to be retained without cluttering the active Contact list. A "Show Hidden Contacts" checkbox could be added similar to the "Show Hidden Fields" checkbox has been added to the UDF tab.
154 votesYou can create a custom field (UDF) and then set it to True or False. Then using Advanced Search you can filter whether to show entries based on this custom field (UDF).

Recalculate formula fields via SQL
As a developer it is sometimes easier and more efficient to update data directly in SQL instead of using one of the API's like Maximizer.Data and Maximizer.Web.Data
At the moment if there is a formula field that references a field/UDF that I update/insert/delete directly in SQL it does not update in Maximizer.
We could also update the formula values in the SQL manually, but we have to rely on the users to tell us what fields are formula and what the formulas are. Then expect them to remember to tell us when they change them.

We use the API’s ourselves so will continue to evolve them. Please use the dev.connect forum to ask any questions about the API’s if you need more insights to help do the work that you need to do

"Move Selected Contact" button to workstation version
It would also be nice to see the "Move selected Contact" button in the web version to the workstation version - I am NEVER able to get the drag and drop to a new company to work , it's a nightmare. When I found the "move selected contact" button in the web version I was so happy , and then confused as to why it's not in the workstation version
63 votesMaximizer is making changes to its product line up that involved the impending discontinuation of the Windows client, in 2016. Windows client users can continue to follow the standard upgrade path to Maximizer CRM v2016, due out in late fall 2015 and then remain on that version for as long as they choose. Over time, support for CRM v2016 will cease, and the customers will have to make a decision between migrating to a solution like Web Access or Maximizer CRM Live or continue with an unsupported solution.
We encourage customers, to continue the dialog with Maximizer Software about any potential product requirements or otherwise, which would help facilitate an easy migration to Web Access or Maximizer CRM Live. -
Email Window Integration - Performance Improvements
As a support technician for Maximizer we are constantly getting complaints regarding the effects on performance of Maximizer when users open the Email window in the product.
Quantity of email, visibility of other profiles and more recently and becoming more common, hosted email services are all root causes to the problem.
We have exhausted all configurations to find ways around the issue but to no avail.

Maximizer CRM 12 Web Access has reduced email functionality compared to v. 11
In previous versions of Maximizer CRM Web Access, there was a Menu link that allowed us to view emails in our Inbox.
Although Maximizer CRM 12 Web Access is much improved over previous versions, for some reason, this functionality has been removed!
This is critical functionality that should not have been taken away from Web Access users. Maximizer Web Access 12 users on the Windows platform can use the Outlook Add-In to handle their email. Mac users can now only send emails: they can no longer save emails to Maximizer CRM 12 Web Access!

Clear partial packets on remote sites when packet transport is incomplete
At times our remote users have a disrupted MaxExchange process while the packets are uncompressing. We want the system to automatically clear these uncompressed packets to allow processing to proceed, or at leat to prompt for deletion (which will have the same result). At it stands, these packets hold up processing until they are deleted.

Ability to make an Appointment recurring after you've created it
You can only make an Appointment recurring when you create it. When you double-click on an existing Appointment, the "Recurring" button is greyed out.
Ideally, you should be able to make an Appointment recurring after the event - for example, if you schedule a meeting which you then decide to repeat in a weeks' time.

Recurring appointments with no end date
When I set a recurring appointment I want to be able to set a no end date so that when I synchronize the appointments will sync.If I do not put an end date the first occurrence synchronizes but not the recurrences.

Hide Products/Services items
We now have many old items in our Products/Services drop down for Opportunities and Cases. We would like to be able to hide older items so they don't show.

Strategy libraries
In Maximizer web access it does not seem to be possible to access the Strategy Library to create new Strategies or modify existing ones! Could this feature be added?

TAPI Support for Windows 7
I would like to make calls from Maximizer with my existing contacts - using the dialer and my phone system (in this case Allworx).

Update last modified date when saving email from Outlook add-in
When saving an email with the Maximizer Outlook add-in (Windows and Web ) the Last Modified Date of the record does not get updated. It should be.

Include Notes data within Dashboard indicators
Ability to crate Saved Searches using Notes and Documents data and filter on all the parameters and text searching fields within these data objects. This would then flow onto ability to see this "activity" at a Dashboard level.

Action Plans to have an option to skip over weekend days
Give the option to skip non-working days for the assigned user. Either prompt with action toi take (eg: move backwards, move forwards or override) or allow this to be set as a property of the Action Plan.

Web Following Grid Tabs Order
Ability to order the tabs in the followingwindowsets.xml, at present when adding a new tab to the file, its appears as the first tab on the webaccess.

Add ability to find campaigns Suspended by Service.
Due to the age of some of our data, campaigns sometimes get Suspended by Service because of old problems in individuals or for other reasons. Searching for these campaigns currently requires a manual search of all active and completed campaigns. With several hundred campaigns scheduled this year, that is not feasible.
