Could you please provide more detailed use cases and examples. Basic UDF inheritance can be complicated and confusing for new entries or for those that are left blank on purpose etc.
An error occurred while saving the comment Jon Arancio commentedIn addition to inheriting the company UDFs to new contacts, there is a separate need for some companies to trigger the population of contact level UDFs from values on the company level. This would impact not just net new contacts as they are added, but would fill in the values for existing contacts.

The Outlook add-in will allow a user to create a contact from an Outlook Contact but not a lead. (Oddly, the lead can be created from an Outlook Email but not an Outlook Contact.

I think you can do this using the Categorize saved emails as function in the Outlook add-in. It is in Preferences and you can set a certain color for Maximizer saved emails.
