Preference for Date Format in Maximizer Web Access
In the Maximizer CRM Windows Client, users can choose whether all dates in Maximizer are displayed as Long (4 January 2016) or Short (4/1/16) under Setup > Preferences > Format.
However, this preference doesn't appear to exist in Maximizer CRM 2016 Web Access, and if you change this preference in the Windows Access, it doesn't reflect in the Web Access.
Please add this functionality to Maximizer CRM Web Access in future versions? Thanks

The support of long and short date format will be available in the upcoming Maximizer CRM 2020 R2 release. The release will be available to CRM Live customers in mid-October.

We've been waiting 4 years for this - hope it comes very soon as it's very frustrating when long date fields take up so much unnecessary screen space.

Just discovered date format cannot be changed in Maximizer Web Access. Noted previous comments going back several years. About time this was fixed.

This is really important for me, too, and (another) step back for us after moving from on-premises to Maximizer Live. For me, I have a different reason for needing to have control over the date. We merge Word documents in English and French, so at the moment, each time I want to use a Word document in French, I have to change the local so that the date is displayed in French. We want to simply have the option for the dates to be displayed in short format so that they work with different languages. We would certainly expect to have some control over the short date format (i.e. choose between DD/MM/YYYY, DD/MM/YY, MM/DD/YY, etc.). It would be very frustrating if this control was added to Maximizer Live, but only had the option of dates in MM/DD/YY format, for example, as we have mainly European clients.

This has been 'on the Roadmap' for well over 2 years now; it's still not there in CRM 2018R2, which is 6 releases later. I was just asked by another customer how to change the date display format, for the same reason as the other commenters here, which is that there carefully designed column setups no longer work.

This is a significant problem the current Long Date takes up way too much width on the screen/page.
As Alison mentions this was planned back in Aug 2016, is there any news on its release?? -

I agree with all the comments so far and I do hope it's changed very soon especially given that this was first raised 2 years ago ! Having to allow for the current wide column is so frustrating and limits the viewing space available for other essential columns. Also have to reformat all date columns when using data exported into Excel.

Thanks, that's good news.

Surely it is a simple job??
We have just migrated to Maximizer Web version and will have to change the column width of ALL of our COLUMN VIEWS! -

The ideal would be to provide a list (table) of acceptable formats and allow users to define their own date format perhaps in the column setup.

Or even shorter 01Jan2016 (narrower columns being the goal!) Great idea!!

Hi Kelly, have you checked your Locale and Time Zone settings in your Preferences? This is found on the top right hand corner of Maximizer Web Access, under the person icon if you're on the 2016 version. Kind regards, Jenny

My dates are in stuck in American format, extremely frustrating and difficult to work with. Therefore, the Global Edit with dates does not function.
