    Maximizer is making changes to its product line up that involved the impending discontinuation of the Windows client, in 2016. Windows client users can continue to follow the standard upgrade path to Maximizer CRM v2016, due out in late fall 2015 and then remain on that version for as long as they choose. Over time, support for CRM v2016 will cease, and the customers will have to make a decision between migrating to a solution like Web Access or Maximizer CRM Live or continue with an unsupported solution.
    We encourage customers, to continue the dialog with Maximizer Software about any potential product requirements or otherwise, which would help facilitate an easy migration to Web Access or Maximizer CRM Live.

    Another major issue with Maximizer Mobile Access has to do with UDF's. I posted a suggestions about this last year: Maximizer Mobile Access UDF's - folders not available and UDF's do not follow the order set in Maximizer CRM Administrator - http://suggestions.maximizer.com/forums/123601-feature-suggestions-for-maximizer-crm/suggestions/2496497-maximizer-mobile-access-udf-s-folders-not-availa

    I hope MSI puts these improvements on the front burner!

    Please note Maximizer’s professional service team have created integrations with Avaya AES among others so feel free to contact them directly if you have an acute need for this type of integration.

    That's strange, my understanding of SIP was that it was the base protocol for VOIP and the phone & VOIP software manufacturers added functionality on top of SIP. But with SIP alone, all basic VOIP functionality is available...

    Joseph: one of my clients use a contract tech support co that has that "sip:username@domainname" in their signature. Also in their signature is a Microsoft Lync logo. So I think you can start there...

    Connie & Joseph: I think we need SIP integration. I'm starting to see this in email signatures:

    sip:username@domainname

    We have a hosted VOIP system and TAPI integration is not available - I found TAPI modules that are compatible with Asterix but the various hosted VOIP providers we have had over the years will not install due to security concerns...
