  2. Adding fields to documents tab

    Being able to add any Maximizer field to a tab would be a great added feature.
    IE: Being able to add FROM and TO email addresses to the FILES The files or documents tab would make it much easier to find an email if we could see who the emails are FROM or who the emails are TO.

    Example: The same Subject line in an email can appear in Maximizer many times, but some of the emails are TO and FROM Maximizer USERS and others are TO and FROM Maximizer USERS and Maximizer CONTACTS. It would be nice to be…

  3. PDF

    when printing to pdf’s with individual files, to select the ability to structure the file names to include at least one of the address book fields, including a UDF field in the file name. At present, it looks like I’d get a bunch of cryptic file names that I’d then have to open individually and customize a meaningful file name from the contents of the pdf.

  4. PDF managment

    The first would be the selectable ability to print documents from templates to pdf and have all the pdf’s go into a single pdf file, separated by page breaks. This feature was lost in the cloud version, We used to use such a feature to send a large pdf file full of invoices to a print and mail out shop.

  5. document preview

    The original versions of Maximizer had a preview pane for documents. We sorely miss this option and would like to see it reinstated for Web Access. Downloading every document is generally time consuming and an unnecessary inconvenience.

  6. Insert the same document on multiple records with Global Edit

    With the Global Edit, we can insert the same Note on multiple records.
    We need the same feature to insert documents through the Global Edit.

    Provide the ability to file templates into folders in the Template Library similar to the Company Library. Template lists can get quite long.

  8. Ability to edit documents or speadsheets stored in Maximizer without download and uploading

    Would like the ability to edit documents or excel spreadsheets that are already uploaded and attached to the clients record without downloading the documents, revising, and uploading again. Possibly a way to open document in machines "cache", revise, and save in one process. Also would be great to have a "button" in Excel to save spreadsheet to client record with a dialog box, like we have in Outlook for an email.

  9. Allow for a subject line in Notes

    As it stands now, whatever you enter as text in the note will appear in the text field (in the Notes tab in the following pane), regardless of whether or not you hit enter to move down a couple of spaces. I would prefer to have only the "subject" of the note appear when I'm looking at the notes tab. A possible solution I received from Support was to bold the subject line so it stands out but this didn't work.

  10. Hosted Solution: A document previewer, rather than a download each time would be useful.

    When looking at multiple documents of one client - a preview option would be useful, rather than downloading each of them.

    We need the ability to upload multiple files at once into the library. Adding one file at a time is painfully slow. Conferences often give USB sticks with multiple presentations. We want the ability to upload these easily into the Maximizer Library.

  12. When sorting Document list by creator please also keep in date order within.

    When you sort the Document list by creator it doesn't keep them in date order. Searching through lots of saved documents can be difficult when the dates are all over the place.

  13. There needs to be some way to back up the documents section for a client

    There should be a way to export, print a report or back up all of the documents for a client for record retention purposes. Something like the note report but for documents would be ideal. This way you can print a report of everything that has been done and sent to a client for your files. This is very important in the Wealth Management Industry.

  14. More detail about documents in the document tab

    My customers (and I) struggle with the documents windows just not showing enough information about stored documents before you open the document. This is particularly true of email.

    Please consider a preview option. or a row depth expand or more columns

  15. Print envelopes direct from Maximizer like it was possible fron the desktop program!

    It is incredibly frustrating to have to go through Word just to print an envelope! Please fix this! Was much better on the desktop version. Almost wish I could go back to it!

  16. Ability to insert files into multiple contacts via global edit

    While I am aware of how to perform a global edit for notes, there is no way of inserting a file. I know how to do it to one contact at a time, but it would be ideal if there was a way to select multiple users and add the same document to all in order to keep the item on file for each contact for historical contact record keeping purposes.

  17. Skip blank fields in Word integration

    When using the v12 Word integration, we would like the ability to not print and trim out blank fields and not print blank rows. Examples of problem fields for this type of integration would be Middle Name and Address Line 2. If some records have a Middle Name and/or an Address Line 2, presently I can't use Word merge fields effectively because some records have extra spaces and extra lines. If the merge fields had an option to 'Not print if field is Blank' this issue would be resolved. Presently the NameandAddress object does skip blank lines but…

  18. Link to a local directory not just to a document

    We store thousands of image files archived by work order #. We can't include all these in the database and so I think it would be useful to be able to link to a folder that would open in file explorer to show all the images. It would save time to be able to go directly from Max to the folder (local or network). We actually use a cloud product that syncs all computers for this data so as long as the location of the cloud service was the same on all computers, the link would work.

    The Document window Properties Description field should appear in the Document window Column layout. This would really help with differentiating similar items.
