Makes absolute sense. We are looking into how to do this with Outlook
An error occurred while saving the comment John Burrell commentedThe Outlook Toolbar already has the Create Case option, so it can't be wildly different to add a Create Opportunity option as well. And for consistency, the Office 365 Max add-in has Create Opportunity but not Create Case, so this also should be added.

Also very handy for team collaboration emails eg you could have a Contact against your own (or a Client's) Company in Max which is a project team, with all the members emails within the Email 1 field so that when that Contact has a Case or Opp loaded against it then all the relevant people receive the email. Ideally need the same concept applied to appointments - include the Contact in an appointment & each member has a Calendar (or Hotlist) entry made somehow. At least they'd be able to get notification emails about them anyway.
