Opportunity Search Functionality in Mobile Application
Opportunity Search Functionality should have select 'All' options fo the category of fields for which choices are provided. Presently we can select one or more choices for field but not all. If a particular field is not correctly filled in the database, the selections done produces undesired results. If there is a 'All' similar to what we have in the hot list search it will help at least produce all the Opportunities.
Secondly, searching opportunities by name etc does not produce results expected. Please test this out. There is definitely something issue with the search functionality in the opportunities module of the Mobile Application.
you now have the capability to search across all opportunities regardless of process
searching on any word for any field in an opp is still a work in progress

re-reading your post, when you search opportunities by 'name', do you mean 'objective'?
typing a search into the search bar of opportunities would return the same results as the web (filtered by the process in mobile)Response: the mobile appl has a space to type something to filter. Yes, I am expecting to seach by name or some word in the objective. Instead it returns the 'No result found' followed by 'Default Account process line and two icons - one to refresh and another to change process. Not sure why the process is not into play - I am searching opportunities using word...

having nothing selected for a field 'should' return everything for the active process. the opportunities module will only return 1 process. we'll look into this more...with your second point, again, if you have multiple processes and the module is filtered for process A if the opportunity you're looking is in process B it will not find it.
Response - Exactly, if I have not chosen any filter, it should show ALL the opportunities. Instead it shows none or sometime some three four items which does not make sense.
Process is not even an option to filter in the Opportunity module in the mobile app. yet it is coming up as an impediment hen the search is initiated.
Please take a look.
