  1. Tasks & Appointments should have a Tab of their own & all Tabs should be able to be selected to be on or off just like the main area icons

    Hotlist & Calendar items should be more easily accessed for an address book record by having a Tab of their own. To ensure clarity it would be good if a user could select to turn off Tabs they don't use eg Related Entries, Campaigns - like you can already for Order Entry

  3. Remember the settings for Date/Time displayed

    One of our customers has found the options to remove the Date and/or Time from the bottom RH corner of Max however this is not remembered which rather negates the options being present since the users are unlikely to keep setting this each time they open Max.

  4. Support "Friendly" Company Names

    In many scenarios, a Company will have a formal name (International Business Machines) and a colloquial name (IBM). We should have a facility that allows me to record both values in the Company record. When performing a Company search, it should incorporate both the existing "Company" field, and the new "friendly" field. That way, I can search for either "International Business Machines" or "IBM" and be taken to the same record.

  5. Flag Important Contacts

    This would work much like the "Important" flag available on the Notes tab. When a Company has many Contacts, it becomes difficult to identify the "key" contacts from the "not-so key" contacts.

  6. Add documentation about the Status Tab for Opportunities

    There is no documentation about the features and behaviour on this page, including the "system" status's of New and Updated.

  7. Coloring Rules using a UDF should use the standard selector for that field

    At the moment you need to enter text values for creating any coloring rule, even if the UDF is a Table field. Given this is an equality check anyway, this should use a data consistent method of selecting the criteria (same as happens in the Search menus).

    A customer indicated that they did not have a good way to merge records in CRM Live, as was available in the windows client.

  9. CRM Live: Ability to delete contacts directly from the Company window

    A customer noted this was a pain point for them, as they would have to re-search (slow) and perform the deletion from the main contact window.

  10. Saving emails with attachments

    There should be something visual to let the user know that the email saved in the documents tab has an attachment. Currently we need to open each one at a time.

  11. Video on using SQL Report Builder with Maximizer 12 Web Access

    It would be good to have a video showing how to create a new report from the SQL Report Builder. Also inlcude inserting parameters and tables

  12. Add a follow up check box to notes. This will allow users to quickly indicate what they need to follow up on without adding a hotlist task.

    This button would make it easier - one step to add a note and a hotlist task thus making it easier for mobile users. The button should be search able and any notes that are check would appear in the hotlist without a due date of the date the note was entered. This could later be changed by editing the hotlist task that was created.

  15. Separate "automatic" Notes from "manual" Notes.

    The new date range filters on the Notes tab are great. However, I would like to see system-generated Notes placed on a separate tab. These Notes are great as a historical reference, but generally don't add much value in day-to-day usage. User-generated Notes (Manual, Email, Phone, etc) frequently contain relevant information users need to access and should be accessible from a separate location than the generic "audit trail" Notes.

  16. Remove "Lead Source", "Lead Status", "Customer Interests", and "Partner Interests" from the User-Defined Fields Tab

    These aren't UDF. They can't be deleted through the GUI and only clutter the UDF tab. With the new Key Field capabilities, they should be moved to the "Basic Info" tab where the administrator can determine whether they are relevant to business processes.

  17. Ability to access alternate email address if contact has multiple emails

    If a client has more than one email address the only way to use the alternate email is to open the contact window and then cut and paste the alternate email address.

  19. 'Yes to All' and 'No to All' buttons when deleting or editting appointments

    Currently, when altering to deleteing a multi-user or recurring appoointment there are dialog boxes about whether to alter for All Users and All Occurences. If you have selected to delete a range of appointsments (by date or via the Hotlist) you cannot bulk select an answer to this and this have to 'click-through' all of these messages.

  20. Related entries graphical view

    Similar to the Org. Chart feature but for records that have been related to each other. Would have options to filter by Relationship Type and choose the number of levels deep to show.
