  2. "Replace" Function For User-Defined Fields

    An option to replace an already made field, keeping the same name but changing the field type.

    Without the need to delete, re creating it and re adding it to an contact key field.

  3. Include udf in appointment desciption

    We would like to be able to include data from a UDF in an appointment This could be something add by the user within the description or as something that Admin can add to every appointment.

  4. Improved Integration with Google calendar

    We use google calendar as a way for some of the crews to access their daily schedules, get directions to the job and view a Dropbox link to view related files. Each sales person is linked to all the jobs scheduled for the day so that they know where the crews will be and can stop in at any job if they are in the area.

    1. I would like to see the output to Google calendar include the address of the client so that the mapping feature of Google Calendar will work.

  6. Multiple suggestions

    Wow do i have a lot! First, there has to be a better way to see other people's suggestions (and vote on them) rather than 97 individual pages of 1214 suggestions.

    Bring back the daily time slot function when entering To Do's so we can SEE where we've already blocked off times.

    Allow text to be added to notes (i.e. when cutting/pasting emails) WITHOUT adding a line between each paragraph.

    Bring back the radio buttons for the various phone numbers related to Contacts when placing calls so we don't have to drop down to see the one(s) we want.

  8. allow a contact to be added from the Hotlist

    A new company contact can only be added from the Address book, not the Hotlist window, whereas I spend most of my time in the Hotlist

  9. Import - duplicate checking for companies and individuals with company names

    When you import a database, it will not find a duplicate company if that entrant is an individual, only if it's a company with a contact

  10. Take out the words "To do" in hotlist task

    An empty box should show up when you go to start a new task, so you don't have to delete the words "To do" each time

  11. Don't add extra lines between paragraphs when copying text into note

    Extra line spaces should not be added to notes when they are being copied from another program (like an email) into notes

  13. Address Book Permission Refinement

    Currently, user / group permissions control access to the "Address Book" as a single entity. However, there are frequently cases where the permissions need to be more granular than this.

    For example, a customer has no use for the concept of "Individuals" and they want to prevent users from inadvertently adding this kind of record into the database. Currently, the only front-end solution is to deploy a MenuBuilder customization which removes all references to "Individuals" from the various record creation menus.

    Ideally, this should be handled by separating the user / group permissions into buckets for:

  14. Default Entry Management

    This needs to be added to the Administrator module. There is currently no way for an administrator to review the Default Entries for the users.

    In the Windows Access application, an option to "View Default Entries" existed for each of the modules, but this does not exist in the Web Access application, nor is there any way for the Administrator to review and alter Default Entries without being logged into Web Access as the user in question.

    In an on-premise deployment, this can be easily done via SSMS, but that's obviously not an option in CRM Live.

  15. Clear user permissions

    Nearly every Maximizer database I've seen does not correctly implement group-level permissions. Instead, permissions are a mixture of user-level permissions and group-level permissions. Trying to clear all user-level permissions to go with a 100% group-based security structure is a nightmare because each user has to have their user-level permissions manually un-checked. There is no easy way to quickly clear all user-level permissions.

    In an on-premise world, a SQL trace could be executed and reverse engineered to clear these values directly in the database, but the user tables are typically the most complex to interact with manually and updating the columns…

  16. Add DKIM Support for Emailing via Office 365 (and others)

    As more and more clients use modern SMTP servers and route their Maximizer emails via services like Offices 365, it is becoming more important to support modern email authentication systems to ensure emails actually go out. DKIM is such a system and Office 365 expects it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DomainKeys_Identified_Mail

    Clients like Thrive are seeing emails get missed because just setting the SPF record is not enough for Microsoft to fully approve emails as being legitimate.

  18. CSV Import

    The Contact # field isn’t available in a column layout so it’s not possible to export a list of existing Contacts to then match to your new CSV data to be imported (using VLOOKUP for eg) to provide the Contact Number field for importing which is required for matching along with the Identification field.
    The Import functionality is lacking in a few other aspects as well which is a pain in real-world usage as they really make life difficult :
    - Table type UDF’s use to be able to be populated by the import process, but this no longer happens.…
