Add a 'set filed to blank' option when using global edit
It isnt currently possible to global edit a number of fields and make them blank - this has to be done one-by-one. It would be great if there was a tick box under the global edit feature for clearing the contents within a specified field.

It is actually possible to use global edit to remove values.
In the global edit screen, go to the User Define Fields tab.
Find the field you wish toblank (for the currently selected records).
In the area to the right you should see the right hand column with a heading of 'Remove'.
For non-table UDF's, click in the 'remove' column in line with the UDF and you will see a drop down appear click this and select 'Remove'.
For table UDF's a '...' button will appear, click this and select the table items you wish to blank.
Repeat for any aditional UDF's you want to blank or populate, and click ok.
Note there is also an option with Table UDF's to replace all currently selected values the client has, with the just new values (ie blank any existing items before setting the new ones, rather than just adding the new ones to those already checked).
To do this click on the Global Edit rules tab and select 'Replace Table Field Values'
