Support for multi-day appointments / events from Outlook
Currently Maximizer has no support for Multi-day appointments and therefore can't sync them from Outlook, however it tries...
It is also dificult to find this information out as it doesn't appear in the manuals.
So what happens when this does happen (Maximizer 12 Winter and Exchange 2010 with MaxSync)
- A multi-day appointment gets added to outlook
- An appointment gets created by MaxSync for the first day of the multi-day appointment.
- MaxSync the updates Outlook and makes the multi-day appointment into a single day appointment.
This should be in the manual.
These appointments should be ignored or supported.
With the release of Maximizer CRM v2017 in October ’16, multi-day appointments are now supported.

In 2017 R2, I've found that multi-day appointments made in Max reverts to single day appointments - possibly after syncing with Outlook using Outlook Add-in. In Outlook the appointment is created as a single day appointment.

In the upcoming 2017 release, we will allow you to create all day or multi-day appointment. The appointments can be synced with Outlook using Maximizer Outlook add-in. MaxSync has been discontinued.

Outlook has a very good method for creating multi=day appointments. For example, in a single window, you can set up biweekly re-occurrences for a Monday and Wednesday. Can Max just use the Outlook code for a similar window?

The majority of clients are looking for Outlook Integration as a key requirement so this is not a request but a necessity.

This is more of a required bug-fix than a feature request. Outlook Events are used a lot by sales organisations toflag trade shows, school holidaysand most people have multi-dy appointments.
This is a significant issue for the CEO of one of our clients who has had to retract his instruction to everyone in Sales to use the Maximizer calendar.

needs to be fixed - the CEO thought my week off had been truncated to one day, fine for him, not so acceptable to my better half!
