Search on ALL Basic Fields and User Defined Fields in Mobile Access
You should be able to search on any field in Mobile Access, whether it is a Basic Field or a User Defined Field. Ideally, you should be able to do a complex search on several criteria, but at the very least you should be able to search on ALL Basic Fields, such as Town or Zip/Postcode.
I know you can also retrieve a Saved Search or Favourite List, but you can't create new Search Catalogs or Favourite Lists in Mobile Access, so would have to set this up in the Web/Windows Access first, which isn't ideal. Also, "Prompt for Values" in Search Catalogs doesn't work, but I'll create this as a separate suggestion...
work on Mobile access is no longer a part of our strategy. This feature has been implemented in the Mobile App

Searching by UDFs is a MUST Have bit of functionality lost in the mobile version. Probably the most frequent search I do on my laptop (CRM Live)

Sadly, you still can't search on Address Line 1, 2 or any User-Defined Fields in the Summer 2013 Mobile Access.
You can't even get round this by creating a Search Catalog in the Windows or Web Access beforehand, with "Prompt for Values" as these still don't work in Mobile Access either (see http://suggestions.maximizer.com/forums/123601-feature-suggestions-for-maximizer-crm/suggestions/3054832-saved-searches-search-catalogs-don-t-prompt-for-)

The "Winter 2012" release adds the ability to search on City/Town, State and Postcode in the Address Book, and Case Number in the Customer Service module. However, Raum has pointed out below that you still cannot search on "Address Line 1" and ideally, you should be able to search on ALL Basic and User-Defined fields.
Also, "Prompt for Values" in Search Catalogs still doesn't work in Winter 2012: http://suggestions.maximizer.com/forums/123601-feature-suggestions-for-maximizer-crm/suggestions/3054832-saved-searches-search-catalogs-don-t-prompt-for-

I agree with this suggestion as almost a requirement in Mobile Access. The more search capability available and it's ease of use the better the system in my view!

One of our customers would also really appreciate if this would be possible. The mentioned workaround of creating a saved search or a favourite list doesn't work for him. His database is already too large and if he's unable to enter a value to search for the results are not usable.
At least to be able to search for town/city should be included.

Noticed that Address Line1 is not available in Mobile Access. This is a big let down for a Maintenance customer of ours who require the ability to search by address when servicing for their clients out in the field.

Surely this is just ensuring a consistent user experience of Maximizer no matter what access method they choose!
