Hide Products/Services items
We now have many old items in our Products/Services drop down for Opportunities and Cases. We would like to be able to hide older items so they don't show.

Confidence Rating improvement
Suggestion to Improve Confidence Rating use.
The program should be rewritten as follows:
Each Confidence rating should have a probability attached to it, just like the stages. The logic would be as follows:
- Set a probability rating for each stage.
- Set a probability for each Confidence rating.
- If the Confidence probability = the Stage probability, use the Stage probability.
- If the Confidence probability is less than or greater than the Stage probability, use the Confidence probability.
This would make the Pipeline much more accurate. The effect would be to tweak the probability and get it much closer to the truth.…

Date last contacted on opportunity
We would like to see an Date Last Contacted on the opportunity. It should be updated based on selected note or document activity on the opp itself. It would be better still if the feature monitored changes at the address book and cascaded an update one or both ways (user option). So, if I meet with the client and make a note in the address book or the opp, the address book and opp 'Last Contacted' would update. Opportunity Reassignment and Opportunities without a Company Assigned
In certain industries you do not know who the end customer for your opportunity is until the deal closes (i.e the quote may be to a sub contractor) In these cases it is desirable to be able to reassign the company that the opportunity is linked to, effectivley moving the opportunity from the sub contractor to the enduser/client where the goods /services will be delivered.
Ideally in the same industries it would also be a great benefit if you could have opportunities no customer (which could be assigned later). I think having a linked partner would be recommended.

Opportunity field Mandatory based on rule
Allow to create the mandatory rule for Opportunity based on Address Book fields.
Example :
if the Company "Category" = "Reseller", the UDF "End customer" on the opportunity must be mandatory.26 votes -
Search Stage Age
It is helpful to be able to present current stage age and the age of each stage of a sales process in column views but it is frustrating that we can't perform searches on the stage age (current or within each stage historically). If we could make searches in Advanced Search we could make useful dashboards about how many opps spend a month or a week in a certain stage.

Select where to convert Lead module email, Notes & Docs to.
When converting a lead to an opportunity it would be helpful to be able to specify where emails, docs and notes are stored - either at address book or in opportunity.
Many sales enquiries need to be verified before converting to Opps but once verified the emails docs etc should be accessible for a particular Opp.18 votes -
Apply Process Changes to Existing Opportunities
If a user edits an existing process in any way then Maximizer should ask the user if they want that adjustment to be applied to all existing opportunities that use that process. To allow for consistency after process editing.

opportunity column view shows company phone not contact phone number
Column View only shows Company Phone numbers, not Contacts numbers. When selecting a opportunity you cannot view the contacts phone/cell number in the Main Opportunity window as it only pulls up the company numbers.

Ability to choose any of the opportunity fields as the default email subject line for monitoring. "Opportunity 150622251427201590198O has had a Note Created" is a little meaningless as a subject line, when you have many opportunities to monitor. They all look the same in my inbox.

Ability to duplicate an Opportunity and then change the client name
Very often, many of my clients are bidding on the same projects. It would be nice to be able to Duplicate one clients job and change the client name. I have many UDF's, and a lot of the info is the same. It would save heaps of time on data entry.

Leads Notes to be visible in Opportunity Module when converted to opoortunity
When I convert a lead to an opportunity it would be helpful to see the notes from when I worked with that prospect before they were converted into an opportunity

create single user opportunities permission
Teams are a valuable if often abused and misunderstood part of opportunity management. I have often been thankful for the facility of dynamic teams. The biggest problem with teams is not teams, but the inability to stop people creating single user opportunities. While the use of default records can largely overcome this. I think the facility to ban single user opportunities system wide could be a useful security permission.

Allow the "Sales Team" field in opportunities be made "Mandatory"
If you don't fill this field out, it restrict some users from seeing the opportunity. Simple fix, is allow it to be a mandatory field so that a user must fill the field in or it can't be saved.

Change when Stage Bar Buttons are pressed
The new Opportunity page shows the stages just above the Opportunity details. When one of these stages is double clicked, the Opportunity opens for editing. It would be nice to be able to double click the new stage and have a pop up which confirms that you want to change the stage. Then only the stage is updated without actually having to edit it and save. This pop up could actually ask whether to update the stage or edit the opp, so you could then do whatever you want from there.

mandatory fields - Opportunity Stage
The Stage field is missing as a value to include in conditional mandatory fields.
Having other User Defined Fields based on what Stage an Opportunity is at really makes logical sense, so as something progresses and a user moves the opportunity along we want to collect different information e.g. Stage = Quote THEN UDF Quote Number & Quote Sent Date become mandatory. Is there any way this can be introduced as a field to select from, has been requested a few times from our user base across different business types. Thanks6 votes -
Opportunity Description - Character field is 500
IDEA - Opportunity Description - Make Character field limit bigger than 500.
Our staff members enter a lot of information to this data field but have to shorter our descriptions or continue the description under the notes tabs. It would be great if the character limit was more than 500 as our staff / users would be able to gain all the information they require under the Opportunities tab (especially if using the mobile site and on site with a client). The complaint from our staff is they don't like going between the notes tab and opportunities tab for sales…
