  1. Importing Records

    Importing CSV, Tab Delimiter or Outlook needs to provide a status like the desktop. It should show you were it's at as it's importing and provide a status at the end namely number of records imported Type and rejected records.

  2. Single Sign On (SSO) in the Cloud

    More and more customers are asking for two things that currently don't sit well together in Maximizer. Single Sign On and Maximizer in the Cloud.

    If your Maximizer server is in a private cloud it is possible to add it to your Windows Domain and use Active Directory for Single Sign On (SSO), however this is not normally the case when using Maximizer in the cloud.

    Microsoft provide ADFS (Active Directory Federated Services) to allow external web applications (like Maximizer) to use Active Directory for SSO without the need to add the web server to the domain. Microsoft are not…

  3. Support for multi-day appointments / events from Outlook

    Currently Maximizer has no support for Multi-day appointments and therefore can't sync them from Outlook, however it tries...

    It is also dificult to find this information out as it doesn't appear in the manuals.

    So what happens when this does happen (Maximizer 12 Winter and Exchange 2010 with MaxSync)

    • A multi-day appointment gets added to outlook
    • An appointment gets created by MaxSync for the first day of the multi-day appointment.
    • MaxSync the updates Outlook and makes the multi-day appointment into a single day appointment.

    This should be in the manual.
    These appointments should be ignored or supported.

    With the release of Maximizer CRM v2017 in October ’16, multi-day appointments are now supported.

  4. Improve the initial search result view when saving email from Outlook using the Web toolbar

    It is not always possible to differentiate between records that are displayed by the "Save Email to ..." when saving emails to Maximizer when using the Maximizer Web Toolbar for Outlook.

    This is more of a problem for Opportunities as not everyone can distinguish between Opportunities by only using the Company / Status / Stage / Close date / Objective fields. We have customers were they have multiple open opportunities with the same customer and the only differentiator between opportunities is the product, so the current search result doesn’t help.

    This is less of a problem for Cases and Address…

  5. Add a 'Today' button when using the built in calendar funtions

    Add a 'Today' button when using the built in calendar funtions so that you can easily select today's date rather then having to select Month and year from two seperate drop downs and then having to select the date. This will make things easier in opportunities when updating start or closed dates to today's date.

  6. Create a native Mobile App for Android and iOS

    Although the Mobile website of Maximizer works okay, I would like to see a native app built for Maximizer Mobile. This would stay on your device and could provide offline access to contacts. You could build it a lot like the app that was designed for Blackberry but extend it to Android and iOS platforms.

  7. when importing csv entry list... if entry is a duplicate it should give an option whether to 'update the entry' or 'leave entry unchanged'.

    Rather than automatically updating or creating a duplicate it should give the user an option what action to take. Also in the email report it should state which entries were updated and which entries were flaged as a duplicate therefore left unchanged.

    in 2017 you are able to select which column in the csv file will be used as a duplicate checker. you are able to determine whether to update overwrite or skip values based on that match. the skipped ones are put into a separate file for you to review and then reimport with different options

  8. It should work with playbook

    It works with blackberry phones but not playbook.
    Also you can not go to Web interface. The browser refreshes and informs that my browser is not supported. Is it possible to add a link to try it anyway since we get updates so often that it might actually work if it let's us to sign in.
    I just purchased based the crm 11 and they will update us in a few months. Is it resolved in new version?

  9. Implement a Quote Management Module in Maximizer

    There is no feasible way to create quotes in Maximizer, which is losing us potential customers. A company who uses Maximizer should be able to create a quote based on a product catalogue that actually connects to the Opportunity Management System rather then an unsupported/old order desk solution that is not a fitting function.

    We have launched several integrations with Accounting and Quoting applications that allow you to enter the contact information once in Maximizer CRM Live and then have it appear in your preferred quoting app, and then in Maximizer CRM LIve be able to see the quotes and invoices that were created. More integrations are coming to Maximizer CRM Live and are accessible through the App Directory.

    Additionally, there is an excel based quoting tool that allows you to customise your quotes as needed.

  10. You should fix your website

    I want to upgrade from CRM 10 but when I select the upgrade feature, it bounces back to the initial screen before completely loading the information on upgrades. Not the best customer experience.

  11. Maximizer compatibility with '64Bit' Outlook

    Maximizer needs to be COMPATIBLE with '64Bit Outlook'.
    Going forward, a large number of PC's are being sold with 64Bit software nowadays, and many customers are upgrading to 64Bit Operating systems; therefore the Integration between Maximizer and 64Bit Outlook is a must!!!

    For Maximizer CRM web access (on premise and CRM Live), we now fully support 64bit Outlook. Hope this helps.

  12. Web Access Importing - available fields

    Now that there is a user friendly importing tool for the web access is great but it would be nice to finish it off with some of the values that are not currently available to import to:
    Account Manager, Category and a Note column would all be useful.

  13. Make email read and compose windows non-modal

    Can we have Maximizer as convenient to use as Outlook is in its ability to have several email windows open simultaneously for reading and composing? I believe in using Maximizer, obviously, but at the moment if I am composing an email and the phone rings I am stuck - I have to come out of the email in order to handle any outcomes from the call using Maximizer. Does anyone agree with me that this is very inconvenient? Wikipedia (!) says "A modal window blocks all other workflow in the top-level program until the modal window is closed". This is…

  14. Date Search rolling range options

    There exists the ability to select various date ranges eg Current Fiscal Quarter, but one to include the last (or in fact next) X months would be great ie Last 1, 2 3 4, 6 or 12 months

  15. Change Log

    I would love to see any data changes to a company /contact/ individual being logged into the history - ie. address change, company change, email address change. (ex: July 18, 2012 Email Change: john.smith@abc.com --> jsmith@abc.com).

    Currently you can't tell if any information has been updated, or what it was updated from!

  16. Note Report Improvements

    The results page of a Note Report need some reviewing as it does not open in a tab / new window that can be interacted with.
    There is no scroll bar when the report goes off screen, in Windows XP at least the Page Up / Down buttons respond, but on Windows 7 \ IE 9 these do not function so there is no way of seeing all the output.
    The only way to extract the report is to Print it or select all the text and then copy / paste this.
    Maybe some form of 'Send Report to..' option…

  17. We would like to see a Preference to turn off the reminders in Appointments.

    In Version 12 (and Summer 2012), the reminder email for appointments is now set to default with no way to turn this feature off. Many of our users do not want this feature and there is no way currently to turn it off.

    In Winter 12 release this has been addressed. Last preference is now remembered by Maximizer.

  20. Saving Email to Opportunites - Outlook toolbar

    The saving email to Opportunity function using the Outlook tool bar seems to pre-select every Opportunity associated to that entry.
    In turn this now saves the email to each one unless you remove the check-boxes manually - not good if there were a large quantity of them.
    Could the default not be to have any selected and the user selects the correct Opportunitie(s)?

    Great suggestion. This has been implemented for both saving emails to opps and cases through the Outlook Add-In Toolbar. The feature will be release in our Winter Release near the end of the year. Thanks everyone!
